Voucher Design
ICT Innovation Vouchers can be allocated annually and
have a wide range of values.
VOUCHER Characteristics
 Micro enterprises and SMEs only
 Small / medium size projects
 Usual Value of €500 - €10,000
 20% region co-funding
 Short easy application process
 Target of 10 work day approval
 Valid for 1 year from approval
 May use annual application calls
 Suppliers remain listed in calls
ICT innovation voucher schemes can
be funded via European structural
funds and are co-funded by the region
at level of 20%. For higher value
vouchers co-funding by the applicant
businesses may be applied.
Vouchers are usually allocated using
annual calls for businesses to apply for
voucher applications.
Suppliers are not usually required to
reapply at each new call.
ICT Innovation Vouchers can only be
used by businesses to contract external
resources for ICT related projects.
Vouchers cannot be used to fund areas
such as personnel costs, private R&D
costs or investments in hardware and
software.
