Voucher Funding
ICT Innovation Vouchers are managed and funded using
existing structural fund mechanisms.
VOUCHER FUNDING
 EU Structural Funds (ERDF).
 De minimis rules apply
 €200k de minimis state aid rule
 Three year state aid time rule
 Local Implementation rules
 Locally administered approvals
 1 Year validity of voucher
 1 voucher per business / year
The ICT Innovation voucher will be
funded through the EU Structural
Funds (ERDF). Local authorities deliver
vouchers to businesses who have been
approved for a voucher.
The business then contracts EU
registered ICT knowledge/service
suppliers to deliver eligible ICT services
Depending on the local implementation
rules, either the business or the ICT
s e r v i c e p r o v i d e r w i l l s e e k
reimbursement of the voucher from the
administrator.
Businesses must be eligible to receive
grant funding under EC de minimis
state aid regulations. There is an upper
limit of €200k for all de minimis state
aid provided to any one business over
a three-year period.
