Eligible Businesses
ICT Innovation Vouchers are available for use by EU
registered micro businesses and SMEs
Business Eligibility
 A business registered in the EU
 Based in the region
 Operating at the time of application
 Between 1 and 250 employees
 Turnover less than €50 million
 Balance sheet less than € 43 million
 ICT related funding need
 Improvement or Innovation focus
 Uses the voucher within 12 months
Micro, small and medium-sized
enterprises are defined by headcount
and turnover or annual balance-sheet
totals. (Ref: OJ L 124 of 20.5.2003)
A micro enterprise employs fewer than
10 persons, with a turnover and / or
annual balance sheet less than € 2
million per year.
A small enterprise employs fewer than
50 persons and whose turnover and /
or balance sheet is less than €10
million per year.
A medium-sized enterprise employs
fewer than 250 persons and whose
annual turnover is less than €50 million
or whose balance-sheet is less than
€43 million.
